ASNHOAI CORE MANDATES

  • All subdivision lot owners including the developer, Avida Land Corp. and long-term lessees (a period of 1 year or more) of houses in Avida Settings Nuvali Homeowners’ Association, Inc..
  • Long-Term lessees of houses are considered as members of the association in lieui of the property owner.
RIGHTS AND PRIVILEGES OF MEMBERS
Members
  • To vote on all matters brought before the members
  • To be eligible to any elective or appointive office of the association
  • To participate in the deliberations of the members in all its meeting meetings
  • To avail himself of all the facilities and services of the association
Duties of Members
  • To pay on time his membership fee, association dues, special assessment, and such other fees which may be levied on him/her from time to time.
  • To participate in major activities and other social affairs of the association
  • To attend all meetings, seminars and other forums that may be called by the association
  • To obey and comply with the association by-laws and other rules and regulations as may be promulgated by the Board of Directors
BOARD OF DIRECTORS (BOD)
  • Elected by general membership to represent, protect and preserve their collective interest
  • Overall leadership of the association
  • Priority and policy setting for all matters that affect association members
  • Institution of and adherence to governance processes in the conduct of association affairs
  • Approval of and alignment of annual programs, projects, schedules and budget
Executive Officers

President-

  • Presides all meetings of the members and board of directors
  • Represents the association in all activities to which it is a party or participant
  • Prepare, in consultation with the appropriate executive officers and Committees, a yearly program of activities and submit an annual report of the operations of the association to the members at the annual meeting
  • Organize and supervise work groups among the members of the association

Vice President-

  • Also a Director, shall, in absence or disability of the President, perform the duties of the President and such other duties as the board may assign from time to time.

Treasurer-

  • Have charge/ custody and responsibility for the funds of the association
  • Shall disburse the funds of the association, for specific purposes authorized by a Resolution of the Board of Directors
  • Shall take charge and have custody and have custody of petty cash fund as may be fixed by the board
  • Responsible for keeping the financial records of the association and the liquidation of any and all accounts, liabilities and obligations owing on dues from the association
  • Monitor all delinquencies and send notices on overdue associations dues and/or demand letters
  • Other duties incident to the office of the Treasurer as may be assigned by the Board of Directors.

Corporate Secretary-

  • Keep the minutes of the meetings of the members of the Board
  • Deliver all notices in accordance with the by-laws and as required by law
  • Keep all corporate records and the seal of the association which shall be affixed to all instruments as may be required
  • Keep a register of names and official address of all members

Auditor-

  • Shall audit the book of accounts and financial records of the association
  • An independent auditor may be appointed to conduct the audit and file the report for the board of directors
